Entries 5-7

Entry 5, 3.4.2024

Steph has been a bit nauseous today, I wonder why.
She just called my eyebrows 'caterpillars'. Oh I'll show her caterpillars.

I should try cooking for her. She refuses to get out of bed as she fears she'll throw up again.

I think the porridge's burnt. Figures. I better buy her something.

Update #2

She seems to enjoy the soup that I bought. I hope she doesn't notice it's not made by me.

Entry 6, 4.4.2024

She was still sick this morning but claims she's all right now.

I checked online for common explanations for nausea since she refuses to go to the doctor's office.

She's eating well so I doubt it's anorexia or bulimia. And it can't be cancer, she went for a check-up four months ago. Pregnancy? Not possible. We've had sex once, the night after our wedding. Neither one of us were really into it so we don't do that anymore.

I'm happy. She seems happy.

You'd think she'd tell me if she wants a kid.

Update

She says it's food poisoning. What a surprise. As if she'd say it's anything else.

Entry 7, 6.4.2024

Fratelli d'Italia, l'Italia s'è desta,
dell'elmo di Scipio s'è cinta la testa.

I asked her if she wants to travel to Italy to spend her vacation days. I managed to convince her with the "but it's where I spent my childhood" and "it's so beautiful and quaint there" crap.

Hate to admit it but I miss Italy.
